Hockey Off-Ice Training

The intense off-ice hockey program includes conditioning, speed and agility, functional strength and power, injury prevention, and flexibility training. Our plyometrics training isolates these key areas of the body creating both the strength and flexibility needed to stay low and produce a long powerful stride, and maintain the stamina to compete shift after shift.

Lacrosse

The dynamic demands of Lacrosse require a training regimen that will develop overall body strength, core stability and lateral quickness.  Many lacrosse athletes training at EFT go on to earn roster spots and compete at the collegiate level.

Figure Skating

EFT’s Off Ice Training program is designed to supplement and enhance performance for skaters of all disciplines. Strength training, flexibility, plyometrics, and sport-specific exercises are all covered.

Training sessions are divided by age and level insuring that the skater’s specific needs are met. Small group format sessions also allow trainers to individualize programs to address athletes’ needs.

With over 30 figure skaters currently training at EFT, our staff- including EFT owner Elias Karras, and skating coach Kori Ade- has developed the most comprehensive off-ice program in the Chicago area.

Our approach begins with preventative injury training and focuses on developing the proper technique, speed, explosive power, strength, and neurological adaptations necessary to master double and triple jumps for figure skaters. Skaters are challenged anaerobically off the ice and work side by side with elite athletes of all disciplines. A high energy, positive atmosphere at EFT Sports Performance promotes hard work and produces results.

Volleyball

EFT’s training program will directly improve power, quickness and explosiveness needed to compete at a high level.
